Brother Barry and Hapa visit

It was a momentous occasion as Brother Barry Flanagan came to visit with his group, Hapa to the Boulder theatre. It was great as he actually had time to spend and we had a great time reminiscing
about our fateful meeting at Rocky Mountain Records 29 yrs ago! Wow! The record store is now a sports bar, but it was fun . We had a nice lunch at Conor O'Neils and then went to the show. It was a great one with the setting at beautiful Boulder theatre, there was a a halau from the Boulder area and the crowd was heavily local if you can believe that. Pretty funny; I felt like I was back in Hawaii for a while . Oh yeah, the theatre was selling Kalua pig and rice plates, all kinds of leis and a good amount of the crowd was wearing Aloha shirts. Pretty ugly Aloha or "Hawaiian" shirts but the spirit was there. Then the next night Barry and his beautiful girlfriend Leslie came over and had dinner at the house and we lit a fire , kicked-back and watched the finals of the Women's figure skating.
A very cool eveing.
